There are hundreds of ways to get involved with the Ralston Area Chamber. From networking events to leadership councils, there’s a place for you and your business to connect with other regional leaders.

When you work on a committee, you are working together toward a common goal aimed at achieving the same purpose – for members to network with each other. Once you develop relationships with fellow Chamber/CVB members, they will begin to feel comfortable with you and either do business with you and/or refer you to others.

Involvement in any of the following groups can make members’ investments in the Chamber much more rewarding:

The "A" Team-This committee represents the Chamber and calls on current Chamber Members, attends Open Houses and Ribbon Cuttings, etc. They also call on prospective businesses to solicit new Members.  Year round contacts equal year round visibility for Ambassadors!

Annual Awards and Auction Committee-Oversees all aspects of the Annual Awards Dinner and Auction.  The committee meets June through December to brainstorm themes, emcee and awards. The gala evening typically has 300 people in attendance.

Golf Classic Committee-Hold the annual golf tournament in June to foster networking and promotional opportunities for members.   This committee typically meets February thru June to recruit teams and call on members for donations and raffle prizes. Quality networking while having a great time!

Independence Day Committee-Coordinate all aspects of the 3rd and 4th of July activities and parade.  The parade brings in more than 40,000 people to Ralston! Committee meets from April through July.

Economic Development/Legislative Committee-Reviews legislation and evaluates issues which are of interest to membership.  During the Legislative Session the committee studies how proposed bills will affect Chamber Member’s ability to conduct business properly.

Outstanding Student Scholarships Committee-Evaluates high school scholarship applicants and selects finalists to receive annual scholarships.  Promotes youth education achievement. Scholarship winners are determined between the months of September through December.

Special Events Committee-Plan educational or informational events, networking opportunities and community service projects.  This committee also plans a number of social events for Chamber members to participate in!
