There are hundreds of ways to get involved with the Ralston Area Chamber. From networking events to leadership committees, there’s a place for you and your business to connect with other regional leaders.
When you work on a committee, you are working together toward a common goal aimed at achieving the same purpose – for members to network with each other. Once you develop relationships with fellow Chamber/CVB members, they will begin to feel comfortable with you and either do business with you and/or refer you to others.
Involvement in any of the following groups can make members’ investments in the Chamber much more rewarding:
Members on this committee serve as a representative of the Chamber of Commerce. The goal is to serve and support the membership, welcome guests and new members and help make connections. Members are active in attending ribbon cuttings and chamber events.
The Special Events committee assists the Chamber staff with the implementation and participation at signature Chamber events.
While staff often carries out the day-to-day activities that result in the development and implementation of the organization’s programs, the Program Committee is charged with long-range planning and general oversight.
